What wonderful gatherings we shared at our Northern and Southern Luncheons! Both events were a tremendous success, filled with delicious meals, warm conversations, laughter, friendship, and the spirit of DAR sisterhood.
Behind every successful event are dedicated individuals who generously give their time, talents, and energy to make everything come together. From the earliest planning stages to the final moments of each luncheon, your commitment, teamwork, and willingness to serve made all the difference.
Whether you helped with registration, decorations, welcoming guests, coordinating meals, organizing Voices, setting up, or simply stepping in wherever an extra hand was needed, every contribution mattered.
These luncheons were about so much more than gathering around a table and enjoying a wonderful meal. They were opportunities to reconnect with old friends, welcome new faces, share stories, celebrate our DAR sisterhood, and remind ourselves of the importance of kindness and service.
One of the most meaningful aspects of both gatherings was seeing everyone work together. When we approach our responsibilities with patience, cooperation, respect, and a genuine desire to help one another, we create an atmosphere where everyone feels welcomed and appreciated.
Service is not always about the grand gestures. Sometimes, it is found in a warm smile, a helping hand, a kind word, or the simple act of making someone feel included.
Our Northern and Southern Luncheons reflected those values beautifully.
To every committee member and volunteer, thank you for your dedication, flexibility, positive attitudes, and countless acts of kindness. Your efforts created memorable experiences for our members and guests and demonstrated what we can accomplish when we come together with a shared purpose.
As DAR members, we are united not only by our commitment to Historic Preservation, Education, and Patriotism, but also by the friendships we build and the service we extend to one another.
May we continue to lead with kindness, serve with purpose, and celebrate the friendships that make our DAR sisterhood so special.
