Nevada is home to chapters throughout the state, each offering its own meeting schedule, traditions, service projects, and opportunities for friendship and volunteerism while sharing the common mission of promoting historic preservation, education, and patriotism. Every chapter welcomes women who are interested in making a difference in their communities while honoring the legacy of our Revolutionary War Patriots.

Carson City Chapters
Battle Born Chapter, NSDAR, Carson City – Organized on July 5, 2004, this chapter was proud to be Nevada’s first working women’s chapter, a format that implements the National Society’s one-hour meeting. The chapter meets for lunch once each month, September through May, on the third Wednesday at noon in Carson City.
John C. Fremont Chapter, NSDAR, Carson City – Organized January 10, 1949. The monthly meetings are held at 10 a.m. on the third Saturday of each month unless otherwise specified.
Clark County Chapters
Francisco Garces Chapter, NSDAR, Las Vegas – Organized on February 18, 1950, and based in Las Vegas, Nevada. This chapter meets on the first Wednesday of September, October, November, January, March, and April at 7 p.m., and on Saturdays in December, February, and May. No meetings are held in June, July, and August.
Helen J. Stewart Chapter, NSDAR, Las Vegas – This chapter is a working woman’s chapter in Las Vegas, Nevada, and received its charter on February 2, 2008. Meetings take place on the first weekend of each month, September through May.
Las Vegas Springs Chapter, NSDAR, Las Vegas – Organized on October 5, 2021, the chapter is Zoom-based and holds one-hour virtual meetings on the first Sunday afternoon of the month. We also meet in person for activities and events three to four times per year. Our virtual platform allows members from any location to attend meetings, and we currently have members in Nevada, California, Ohio, Indiana, New Mexico, Rhode Island, Maryland, New York, and England. Of our 30 members, one-third are Juniors (ages 18-35). No meetings are held in January, and June through August.
Old Spanish Trail Chapter, NSDAR, Henderson – This chapter currently has fifty members and has been strong for over 15 years. They meet on the second Saturday of the month from September through June.
Red Rock Canyon Chapter, NSDAR, Summerlin – Organized in 2014, the chapter meets September through May.
Silver State Chapter, NSDAR, Boulder City – The Silver State Chapter, NSDAR, was organized on September 7, 1991, and has members all over the country, not only in Southern Nevada. The Silver State Chapter, NSDAR, meets on the second Saturday of every month, September through May.
The Meadows Chapter, NSDAR, Las Vegas – On June 22, 2015, the National Board of Management confirmed The Meadows Chapter, NSDAR, with 25 organizing members. The Meadows Chapter, NSDAR, meets monthly, September through May.
Valley of Fire Chapter, NSDAR – Organized on June 12, 1957, the Valley of Fire Chapter meets on the second Tuesday of every month unless otherwise specified. The social begins at 10:30 a.m., and the meeting starts at 11 a.m.
Virgin Valley Chapter, NSDAR, Mesquite – On April 5, 2020, the National Board of Management confirmed Virgin Valley Chapter, NSDAR. The Virgin Valley Chapter, NSDAR, meets monthly, September through May.
Elko County Chapter
Ruby Mountain Chapter, NSDAR, Spring Creek – Located in Spring Creek, was chartered on December 7, 2013.
Lyon County Chapter
Fort Churchill Chapter, NSDAR, Fernley – Organized in Fernley, Nevada, on October 06, 2012. This chapter meets in Fernley on the first Saturday of each month, September through May.
Nye County Chapter
Pahrump Springs Chapter, NSDAR, Pahrump – Chartered on December 6, 2003, and meets on the second Wednesday of each month in the Pahrump area.
Storey County Chapter
Washoe Zephyr Chapter, NSDAR, Virginia City – Organized on October 12, 1991, in Virginia City, Nevada. They currently have 50 members. Meetings are on the fourth Saturday of each month except for June and August.
Washoe County Chapters
Nevada Sagebrush Chapter, NSDAR, Reno – Officially chartered in 1923, this chapter is presently the oldest Daughters of the American Revolution chapter in Nevada. Meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month, September through May.
