Honor Flight Nevada – Sunday, October 25, 2026, Reno-Tahoe Airport Main Lobby

This Sunday, we need Nevada to SHOW UP.

🇺🇸Honor Flight Nevada Mission #55 returns home on Sunday, October 25, carrying 40 honored veterans from an unforgettable four-day journey to Washington, D.C.

For many of our Vietnam-era veterans, the welcome home they received decades ago was very different from the one they deserved.

This Sunday, we have the opportunity to change that.

We are asking our community—families, veterans, military members, first responders, service organizations, businesses, students, friends and neighbors—to come to the Reno-Tahoe International Airport and help us fill the terminal with American flags, signs, applause, handshakes and gratitude.

Our veterans are scheduled to arrive on Southwest Airlines Flight #806 at approximately 3:40 PM.

Please plan to arrive early so you are in place before the veterans enter the terminal.

Bring your kids.

Bring your grandparents.

Bring an American flag.

Make a sign.

Wear your red, white and blue.

Most importantly, bring your voice and help us make some noise when these veterans walk through that airport.

They have spent the weekend visiting the memorials built in their honor, remembering friends who never came home, sharing stories and forming friendships with veterans from different generations. When they return to Nevada, we want them to see a community waiting for them.

40 Veterans.
Different Wars. Same Family.
One Nevada community waiting to say: WELCOME HOME.

Please share this email with your family, coworkers, veterans organizations, churches, clubs, schools and friends.

You don’t have to personally know one of our veterans to come.

Come because they served.

We leave as strangers.

We return as family.

Thank you for helping Honor Flight Nevada give these veterans the homecoming they deserve.
